The Claw Appreciation Thread
« on: June 03, 2016, 10:21:25 PM »
As the title suggests this bloke has been right since day1.

Some of are get fooled into a false sense after repeat finals appearances by this rabble of an organisation, but the Claw knew best.

Most times he nails it.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

I have always agreed with Claw except when he's wrong ie his recent post about Hamspud
as far as list management is concerned I'd give him a job over that port sissy any day of week

This performance is out of character, we've just beaten Freo in the toughest road trip in the AFL and on the big stage knocked off the Dons.

We'll be back on track next week managing to scrap a win against the mighty Gold Coast

And the bandwagon will be full again when we put the cue in the rack at 1/4 time against Brisbane with a 2 goal 5 behind lead, then have to pull the cue back out when Brisbane won't go away and we scrape home with a gutsy 13 point win.

Oh PLEASE !!!!! Somebody shoot me now.

The great oracle Claw has predicted in the past .

Dual All Australian Alex Rance would never make it.

We would be 1-9 this year

We would be bottom 4 in 2014 and 2015

Melbourne would finish above Richmond in 2015.

I predict that one day Hawthorn will eventually miss the finals .
I also predict that my son definitely  wont eat his vegetables tonight.
Star Wars episode 8 will probably suck and that in two days time it will be a Monday.

I think claws main point has been our list is middling in talent.  Some club official said as much the other week. Guys like Chapman have served us ok but he's old and was never quick. Guys like Matt Thomas served us well and got us to finals but took games from kids like c ellis. We are where we are and to improve our talent levels have to rise. Whether it's through getting ready made a graders like yarran on the park or games into rioli types and finding more of them we are a middling list.
