How'd you get your username?

Despite my username being bluey, i ain't a redhead. I get called bluey because of a bet i made with some mates last year. I dyed my hair red during the holidays and kept it like that for half the school year, and during that time i copped a lot of poo from me mates and got tagged with bluey! But it was worth it because at the end of the 2 terms they had to pay me a cool $300 for the bet!

Just wondering about the reasons behind some of the usernames on OER!

mine is just a net alias also, xcited, was born when terry wallace was announced as our coach , as its the first time in decades we could genuinely get excited over the tigers future. b4 terry came along we just got used to entering each yr hoping it would not be as bad as the previous yr but deep dwn im sure most of u were like me and new we had no real chance at improving and just lived in hope! now we dont have to hope, we can really get excited watching our team grow and develop back to former glory

Mine's a net alias also surprise surprise. Along with oldies like Moi and Julz we've been on Richmond forums for too long  ;D. Since 2000 at least for me starting on the now defunct "roarpower" forum. Tried to think of something clever and whitty like fROARley but couldn't lol and went with an old RFC catchphrase.

Another net alias here. ;D

Enjoy B&W old movies for the 1930's and 1940's in particular and William Powell is one of my all time favourite actors and the rest as they sayis history :thumbsup

My mum and dad are Mr. and Mrs. Spirit and they’re fanatical Tiger supporters.

Ok they’re not then and mine’s just a net alias too. :P  It was the best I could think up and, like a lot of other things, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Having been shamed into getting rid of Froars, couldn't think of anything so i just went basically for me, Moi.  Figured Moi couldn't get sacked as a coach, or leave as a player, so that'll do until something better comes along  :shh

Wanted to be called Sobriquet, but thought because that's a friend's stage name, would be tacky.  But i'd kill to have it lol.  It's French meaning nickname.

Easy - First job was at Carlton and United Breweries. All mates used to call me Mick C U B and it kinda stuck and has lasted the last 20 odd years.

Didn't work there for long and next job was at ANZ - Just didn't have the same ring to it I guess, Mick A N Z  :lol

My close friends call me Jules and I live in Queensland.  But as "Jules" is getting quite common I changed it to "Julz"

Used to be D!ckie Clay (on roarpower etc), but then swear filters came in so I had to change it. Am in SA these days so I picked the state bird - the Piping Shrike.

Mind you, there is no such bird. It's either a magpie or a mudlark (but not a crow). I prefer the mudlark, for obvious reasons.
