Tiger products

It seems the humble tiger is as popular as ever even as a company symbol. Yesterday in the supermarket I stumbled across of all things "Tiger" processed cheddar cheese and today in the Hun a low-cost airline called "Tiger Airways". There'd be a few others out there as well if we think about it.

Tiger Airways flies into Darwin
Herald-Sun
20dec05

LOW cost airline Tiger Airways jetted into Australia for the first time today, landing in Darwin.

The flight marks the beginning of the Singapore-based airline's first regular international service between Darwin and Singapore.

About 110 people arrived in Darwin aboard the first flight today.

The Northern Territory government has signed a three-year, $350,000 per annum deal with the airline to help promote the service.
