Brett Ratten to Richmond / Fresh start
« on: July 24, 2016, 11:00:13 PM »
Was stiff to get the axe at Carlton, especially when you look at what Malthouse dished up.

Been at Hawks during current success era. Has done more than Hardwick ever has, won a final. Has experience and can genuinely coach.

Anyone thinking Hardwick is the answer is simply dillusional. Contract or not for the sake of the entire club get someone fresh in there. Clean out the protected species, get ruthless at trade table and build a proper list with no favours instead of trying the same rubbish year in year out.

If not Rattan, entice Goodwin over as Roos may continue or give Stuart Dew a call. Nothing will change under Dimma, absolute fresh start is what is needed.

Forgot Knights, but record isn't as good as Ratten. I'd honestly take KB at this rate.

Surely there must be enquiries at the very least.

So is Micky.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Actually I was just taking the pee re ayres  :lol

Hasnt been involved in afl footy for a while now, but I wouldnt shut the door on anyone, has a lot of respect in the footy community

Wouldnt be adverse to Knights, Dew, Ratten.

But one thing we need to try and do - get Dunstall down to the club to head a full scale fully independant audit into the whole footy department

wernt port the first club to appoint a female assistant coach?
Imagine if we followed that lead?
Daniel, little J and co would rupture a pooper valve
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
