I thought it was hilarious..crazy like a fox and his opinions on the game and the toadying parasites who feed off it (ie the media) were valid, even if his articulation is poor (but humorous).....the sanitised modern game is poorer for not having rebels, characters & misfits like him in it....

robots- yep just look at our captain.

hard not to agree with some of what he said if your in that age group. The personal stuff was over the top though.

Hmm. I'd probably prefer a Cotchin type as captain over a Jacko type.

I found his comments about Richmond interesting. It seems he rated us higher than Hawthorn.

LMAO @ Toilet trained by the AFL.

The gripe over over the AFL taking over the game to the extent that people refer to Australian Rules as a corporate name is one i share whole heardedly
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

i was referring to players now being robots and he is dead right there.

People were up in arms when fev was around calling for his head, then there was aker before him. Jack was the latest running from the media. Well FMD sack the bum for not fronting up to the media and licking their ball sack like every other idiot does.

Whether you like them or not is beside the point. Jacko is dead right the league is littered with yes men like sheehan and robots.

Had some good points but stuff he is a pleb. Agree with his points re: Richmond were interesting. Stuffing LOL at bragging about how good he is by tapping the ball if he couldn't mark it but then wanting to slog Healy for beating him in the highest goal kicker :lol

People often forget Jacko kicked a 131 goals for our ressies in 1980. He left because he couldn't get a game behind Roach and BT. He became the joker after that with his antics at Melbourne and Geelong such as the handstands in front of Hawthorn's full back Kelvin Moore.

I did find it interesting what he said about Richmond - seems he took a lot out of his experience at the tiges.

I also understand that he gave Phil Egan the nickname Flaggins, which was a stuffing dirtbag thing to do, and that no one stood up for Phil until some under 19 who never made it called him out on it. Can anyone confirm this?
