Rookie Draft - Richmond 2nd pick.
« on: December 23, 2005, 05:08:39 PM »
I wish we picked up Thomas Redden  :-\

Would have capped off a very good drafting period consitering our picks.

Ah well, best of luck of to Jeremy Humm.

Ramps mentioned him before last year's draft  as one to look out for from Sacred Heart College in SA.

Just on our picks, it was interesting Miller said in the FTB that we would've used our last pick in the draft (pick 67) on Kristen Thorton if he was still around but the Swans picked him up at 54 and so we passed and used our PSD pick instead on White.

I think Redden for what we need and are trying to achieve atRFC- would have been the wrong sort of player to draft ;)

Hard as nails, 190cm+, versatile prospect wasn't 'what we need' at the 2nd pick of the rookie draft  ???

Humm was a much better value...  :P

Adelaide did very well.

If his second half fadeouts in the carnival are due to a lack of endurance then he wouldn't fit into Wallace's style of hard gut-running.
