Well they've won a few lately, so I'd say there is some chance. Certainly playing better than the seniors.

Plus the "seniors are poo so the vfl side must be too" argument doesn't stack.

Was a bit of tongue in cheek just saying our AFL side is poo. Was also meant to generate some thought on why they look better than we do in their respective comp. Are our youngsters actually pretty good compared to others? Is the coaching a lot better? Do the players just apply themselves better than our senior spuds?

Fair enough. To answer your questions, probably a mix of all three, although they will still miss finals so they're not exactly killing it.
