Well it may be due to the fact he's played the last 10 weeks down back.... :whistle

Ok then, if it only takes 10 weeks for a first year player to over ride all his natural, ingrained since birth instincts, whats the issue?

Or does that actually mean that he always was a natural back man and he was being played in the wrong position as a junior?

If he starred down back, I would agree with you but he didn't. He just looked mildly more involved. I would say that would be easy considering how little and how haphazardly the ball was coming into our forward line and how systematically and regularly it was entering our backline....

wouldnt that systematic and regular ball entry into the backline be even more overwhelming for a player playing his first game, before he is ready, already looking shell shocked from the carnage unfolding around him, and not being a natural back man?

I would have thought his two disposals summed up his game. I wouldn't conclude he was natural anything on that performance.
