Not surprising - the ones battling to win a seat on their own right are flogging a dead horse with the way the whole system is setup. Little chance of getting the cut through the board endorsed candidates get

How does the voting work? Is it just a question of where those that voted placed their votes or do non-voters form a proxy for the incumbents?

The table was tilted.

The board get what they wanted - maintain power. This is bigger than a Richmond premiership to them.

Just a case of managing the PR of poor seasons for the next 3-4 years and they will be thinking they have done an outstanding job.

Just opened my email browser and find I have a message from the club advising me to vote if I haven't already done it.
Strange in that it included my member number and a link to the voting site.
Strange in that I voted over a week ago.
Even stranger in that the email was sent with a time stamp of 10/12/2016, 8am.
14 hours after voting closed!!! 

Has anyone else got one of these late emails?

Yeah,i had emails sent to me a week after voting but at the bottom it said:

Please note: If you have already voted in this year’s
board election, please disregard this email.

Is there a link to see the tally count?
I'm sure I saw the numbers last time we voted.
