Humilating losses to end of a season?
« on: August 31, 2016, 09:03:27 PM »
My memory isn't great but...

2016 - Sydney lost by 200 points
2015 - Choke to North in final
2014 - Wind gate vs Port Adelaide 1st qtr
2013 - Carlton choke
2012 - Drew with Port Adelaide at home in a year where they only won 5 games.

We finish seasons off well... 'Most important things is that we learn lessons' - Hardwick 2016.

Much better than pointless wins though.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

You're only as good as your last quarter.  We beat the team that finished on top.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

i think that concept may be unique to you
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

yep, that way at least we dont have to suffer the BS of "we will build on that performance and take it into next season" although I believe dimma did say we won the last qtr against sydney and will build on that for next season  :shh

Always get smashed at the start of the season too

Playing catch up with grand finals in July
Then he grabbed two chopsticks and stuck them in his mouth , pretending to be a walrus
