Getting rid of contracted duds .
« on: September 19, 2016, 11:45:07 AM »
Steven Morris and Todd Elton are never going to make it . Both list cloggers are contracted for next year .

Surely they can't be on big coin .  Pay them out .  Marcon had more upside than these two .

Surely its a no brainer .

Except that their contracts will contribute to the cap - which means that we can't really pick up any other players to fill their spots.

So in actual fact we'd just have 2 less players to choose from. We played 41 listed players last season.

It's a shame Morris was just starting to perform before he did his knee.

ltob will be delisted next year for sure.

Andrew Moore is out of contract so he can still be delisted, think there will be more delisting once trade time starts

Townsend unfortunately was given 2 years (a BH special  ;D)

Hunt has 12 months to go as well and although people don't want to hear or acknowledge it, he last 8 or so weeks were good, showed up some of his more talented team mates IMESHO

Never once walked away from a game thinking he didn't have a "dip" can't say the same about a number of others

And yes "good" based on what his role in the side is, he did his job

Hardwick needs to be 1st cab off the rank.

Massive stretch.

Surely we are past this level of acceptance.

I'll have a red hot crack if you want that to be your yardstick. Need quality. Hunt is certainly not that
