Does Dunkley play with a tagger pulling and pushing his every move in game? Don't get the negativity on Cotchin.

Still stood up in one more final when the heat was on than Deledio & Martin have. :shh

Does a tagger stop you tackling when you don't have the ball?

This.

Was very very good in 2013.

And yes, Dunkley hasn't been tagged.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

How? He had less possessions (19 vs 26) and scored far lass on SC and AF points. In fact, Cotchin was second best on ground going by AF points.

Also kicked two captains goals iirc, one cracker on his left and a set shot at a break

So in summary, the counter arguement to the stats are :-

1) At least he played well in one out of three finals.
2) Its not his fault he cant break a tag, and/or we should expect a lower performance from him.

No Dooks. We are just saying that you have to compare apples with apples. Put a 19 year old Cotchin into the current Bulldogs side and he'd be a star.

So its the teams fault Cotchin has a worse record?

In a way yes. Cotchin has to carry the side. He is thus targeted by opposition coaches. Dunkley is a player that no opposition coach will put much time into. They have many other players to worry about at the doggies.

TIGERITIS - allowing the 9th placed Cheating arse Scum nemesis team beat the team you captain in a final.

TIGERITIS - captaining the losing team in the Tommy Hafey tribute game.

TIGERITIS - winning the toss and kicking against the wind in an away final & trying to make excuses for it.

TIGERITIS - allowing a punce pull your pants down in your third final.

TIGERITIS - making an extraordinary talented young elite brownlow medalist just an average player.

TIGERITIS - making an elite AFL player the sideways dinky kick specialist of the competition.

TIGERITIS - making an elite AFL player have to resort for easy kicks out the back to shake a tag he now struggles to shake.

TIGERITIS - allowing your captain get his pants pulled down when tagged.

What - in the first half when Carlton were still asleep and we were cruising? Went MIA when the chips were down - Cotchin, Maric & an 18 year-old Vlastuin were the only ones who didn't...
