Bevo is a great example of you can pee and moan and split hairs about having the perfect list or can just get a coach with a clear game plan, gets the most from his players and they actually want to play for him and have a crack. They have a heap of blokes that would be deadset plodders if they played for anyone else yet they now have medals. Goes to show you don't need to crap on about reviews and 5 year rebuilds.

Hopefully those blokes who have crapped on over the years about compromised drafts can now STFU

Lol at Sydney complaining theyve been given a raw deal by the umps. Hand back your wins (and premeirships) from COLA and hand over your academy picks and players. Then we'll talk.

are you a bit emotional today madam
Let me also point out they have no less than four very good father son drafts,
Dunkly, Picken, Liberatore and Hunter that made it easier for them to build.  That is about how many good players we have now.  We had less back when GC and GWS came in.  They also started in a much stronger position than us when the new teams came in, had better trade currency.  Those four father son picks just won a GF.  We had to lure exciting amateurs from the bush leagues to tide us over when we found out nobody wanted our epic players for trade.

They got Dunkley fair and square I believe by making a bid and Sydney not matching? Father sons are way too expensive now unless you can guarantee they're a first round stud. Liberatore and Hunter though were under older systems which they wouldn't have been able to take more recently without giving up some of their earlier draft picks. When the new teams came in they were just off the back of some prelims with some currency to trade, not bottom four like us. I'm not going to take the compromised draft thing as an excuse because they proved how quickly you can turn things around with only a handful of good players, good development and a great coach, they even played harder and wanted it more than the Swans, but this whole bullflog Aussie battler bandwagon thing by opposition supporters is making me sick. Grow a spine, they would never return the favour.

One father son missed all of last year (acl)
One father son missed most of this year with the captain
Lost a former captain and top 5 pick along the way too.

Dunkley Picken father son?
U mean cordy?

This was at a time we drafted farmer, conca, Morris, vickery, Hampson, Knights 3 yr, amd not replacing valuable assistants that left

post with some facts next time
