Does he hunch over in games with his hands on his knees?

Will be our new first ruck....I'd say Hamspud back to the VFL where he belongs but that would actually still be a few levels above where he belongs...

Swans ruckman Nankervis seeks trade to Richmond

AFL.com.au
18 October 2016

SYDNEY Swans ruckman Toby Nankervis is expected to request a trade to Richmond on Tuesday as he seeks new opportunities.

AFL.com.au understands the 22-year-old, who grew up in Tasmania, decided while travelling overseas he wanted to continue his career with the Tigers.

The promising ruckman had a strong season with the Sydney Swans in both the AFL and the NEAFL but could not cement a spot in the senior team.

He played seven games this season to extend his career total to 12, having been selected with pick No.35 in the 2013 NAB AFL Draft.

Despite playing well in the Swans' semi-final win over Adelaide, he could not hold his spot when Kurt Tippett returned from injury, with Sam Naismith showing good form.

A strong, bullocking ruckman who can kick goals, Nankervis attracted interest from several clubs, with the Tigers targeting him as a ready-made ruck who could either support Shaun Hampson or work in tandem with him.

The Swans had made an offer to Nankervis and he took time to weigh up the decision on whether to ask for a trade.

However, the Tigers lost Ty Vickery to free agency and re-signed veteran Ivan Maric, and have a shortage of quality ruckman with Hampson turning 29 at the start of next season.

Richmond already has its hands full getting a trade completed for Gold Coast player Dion Prestia.

The Tigers have pick 27 and pick 46 in the draft, with a late second-round or early third-round pick expected to be about right for Nankervis.

We offered Conca as a swap but the Swans didn't want him.

------------------------------------------------------

Sydney ruckman Toby Nankervis is understood to have asked the Swans for a trade to the Tigers.

The Tigers and Swans had explored a trade sending Reece Conca to Sydney for Nankervis, but the Swans were not keen on the injury-prone Conca and Richmond decided to keep him.

The Tigers were still keen to pursue the young developing ruckman in a separate trade.

Grimes is soft  :lol

Grimes is far from soft

Agreed - ridiculous thing to say. Puts his body on the line every week.
It was only a joke mate, at Claws expense.
Grimes is one of my favourites and one of the bravest at the club.

Serious question

Would you trade him? Only reason i ask is because he has currency, really decent currency

 @ Wp trading grimes

Yes

Double so given his Hammys

The problem is outside of grimes, deledio and rance we don't have afl standard defenders

Getting rid of two makes it tough
