Super Size Me
« on: June 10, 2004, 11:09:46 PM »
Anyone else seen this doco-movie yet about that guy who ate only maccas breakfast, lunch and tea for a month? Not bad especially for only $5 at Nova on Mondays ;).

Geez the yanks' meals are ridiculously HUGE! :o.

Still amazed at the guy who drank 52 half-gallon tubs of soda (soft-drink) in only 2 weeks. Sheesh why?!

Yanks and their food hey.  If you've ever been over there, is hard not to notice the size of their bums - they are HUGE lol.

My sistertried to order a ham sandwich over there - and all she wanted was two slabs of bread with a bit of mustard and ham shoved in the middle.  She specificially asked for no fries, no salad, no nothing else - just a plain ordinary sandwich.

Nope, she got the works - fries, salad, absolutely everything.

I saw Super Size Me with my gf on Sunday nite
I felt quite crook by the end of it.
What goes in nuggets didnt surprise me.
Having worked for Macca's for 2 years, and i 'm  still in hospitality today, I still say that they are the most efficiently  organised company I have worked for.It was a mecca for brown nosing though and just too god damn american for my liking in the end.
Found the movie quite informative and enjoyable, in a similar vein to Mike Moore's Bowling for Columbine. ;D
