I just googled it
Nah no mention in the media WP
Was told there ain't much change out of $2m
In the last 3 weeks its been reported in the Age twice
The australian once
And good old Dr Hiscock in his sook piece last week in the HUN said it
The number ive heard is less
And yet Collingwood will make plenty this year despite a 3rd consecutive finish outside the top 8. I guess that's the equivalent of rocket science
Firstly i never said it was acceptable all i said it was easy explained
Now onto the pies. Would think thats pretty obvious as well
Larger sponsorship deals than us (refer thread from weeks ago that had many up in arms)
Greater revenues from coteries
Better revenue deal with the MCG than we have.
More outside revenue streams than us read more pokie revenue
So you are roght it's not rocket science
So, whose accountable for finding alternative revenue?
If we assume that supporters are largely accountable for membership revenue - what impact does anyone at Richmond have for everything else?
At its most basic level, to have a worse deal than Collingwood on the stadium deal is ridiculous - our attendances are at least on a par with theirs over the last 4 years.
Again, it begs the question - what is their long term vision in this area and what exactly are they accountable to deliver to the members.
And finally, what is worse, a current board that has no idea what it is doing and is both unaccountable and complacent or a potential board that has no idea what it's doing but actually gives a poo?
