Batten down the hatches
RFC will announce operating loss
Rumored to be approx $2m
Let's see what creative accounting occurs here

This has been in the media for weeks

Ox, re ME bank - sponsorship ended 12 months ago -   EVEN BETTER!!

How we can make a loss, easily

No replacement for ME bank sponsorship - Peggy, Benny, Dimmer

Crowds down on budget - Dimmer

Merch sales down on budget - deluded/creative financial projection

Event revenues down on budget - Peggy Benny

It aint rocket science

You're right, Willy - It ain't.

And your number is wrong. Loss yes that big no but nice try

And please spare me with the creative accounting rubbish. That's typical of people who want to scare monger. Accounts are prepared under law ... nothing creative about it

And yet Collingwood will make plenty this year despite a 3rd consecutive finish outside the top 8. I guess that's the equivalent of rocket science
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

In the last 3 weeks its been reported in the Age twice

The australian once

And good old Dr Hiscock in his sook piece last week in the HUN said it

The number ive heard is less

And yet Collingwood will make plenty this year despite a 3rd consecutive finish outside the top 8. I guess that's the equivalent of rocket science

Firstly i never said it was acceptable all i said it was easy explained

Now onto the pies. Would think thats pretty obvious as well

Larger sponsorship deals than us (refer thread from weeks ago that had many up in arms)

Greater revenues from coteries

Better revenue deal with the MCG than we have.

More outside revenue streams than us read more pokie revenue

So you are roght it's not rocket science

Just wondering if we should start employing rocket scientists?

 :lol

I just fond extraordinary that people are apparently so shocked by this news considering our season

Ooh please.. the shock isn't the loss as that was guaranteed with this cow in charge. It's  the figure of 2 mil, which I doubt is accurate IMO.

Without knowing what bombers loss was of years gone by I find it hard to believe we are at that level.

My guess is a half a mil loss
