First up, shattered about Lids. I know it had to happen, but doesn't make it any easier.

Missed out on keeping that pick 6, which again is less than ideal. Our first pick is 27, so we're not getting a young jet.

I feel the Caddy deal took our trade period from mediocre to pretty solid. Both those guys that come in walk straight into our top 10 players, which can only been seen as a positive (not a difficult top 10 to break into though ;)).

Vickery for the 2nd rounder is a HUGE win.

Also, we brought in a Ruckman who likes to work hard after the bounce. Can't be a bad move?!

Average - which is good for us....

...we still undervalue the draft and overrate our list.......

Really disappointed with our position in this years draft 27,56 & 62 (I assume we will only have 3 picks).  I just hope we get a good slider at 27.
Then you have the Carlton scum getting 3 young GWS players for not much.
On the flip side wrapped with the inclusions of Prestia, Caddy & Nankervis which fills needs
I will be happy when next year comes along and we have picks 4 & 10.

The RFC can look forward to being slightly less mediocre next year. Ladder position 10-12...right in the 'sweet spot' they love so well.

This...

We have had an average draft. Some wins (vickery, caddy, nankervis) then some misses (not picking up anyone with late picks, not trading away players with value and prestia for pick 6)

It astounds me they think that Jack  needs no assistance up forward, but then again its the RFC

So our outs are Deledio, Vickery, McBean, Chaplin , McKenzie & Marcon from the rookie list with Prestia, Caddy & Nankervis coming in....if we only use three picks in the draft, use one of those to upgrade Short and we only take one rookie there'll be no more delistings ....

Prestia for effectively pick 6 is a concern. Not sold on this.

Happy with Caddy and Nankervis for the picks. Very happy.

Deledio for next years first rounder is good. Geelong should slide a little.

Looking thin in the kp areas. Alot of faith in Astbury and Griff and if they go down theres really nothing thats coming through (yet).

Overall pretty good but so far off a decent team its going to be another disappointing year.

Actually...forgot about about dfa's.....hope Fremantle delist Barlow and we pick him up after we delist A.Moore...hell, I'd even give Dal Santo or Petrie a year ahead of Moore...

How did we all rate our trade period?

My amateur summation.

2017 first round and third round are worth pick 6.
Picks 27 and 56 are worth TV and 46.

That effectively means we have traded Lids and 64 for Prestia, Caddy and Nankervis.

Seems very good to me, or am I missing something?

I know we have no early pick this year, but we have a first round next year locked in.

Pretty happy overall, our list has definitely improved, first pick at 27 is probably not the worst result as we generally stuff up our higher picks anyway so cant see how its really going to impact. Wishing the worst season ahead for the Cats and we are then in a prime postion in 2017.
