  • Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

AFL website's mock draft has us taking Kobe Mutch:

General opinion is Top 10 skills but very slow - even slower than Lennon....GWS academy kid but fair chance they wont match any bid, especially if they lose early picks as punishment for the Whitfield affair....

My preference for pick 27 would be Willem Drew or Jarrod Berry (if he slides).  Both tall mids.
Best result would be Jy Simpkin but not much chance of that.
Not sure on Kirby at 56??  Prefer a key defender if there are any.

Richmond supporter does mock draft which places highly rated player at Richmond's first pick...stop the press...

Would be a steal to get Mutch with forst our pick. He is not blessed with pure leg speed but i think he covers the ground better than Lennon.

Like the look of Cooper Jones as a modern key running defender.

One i would like is Griffen Logue from wa. but i dont think he will get to us. One who gets little mention is the lad from sa Jack Graham.
Sam Powell - Pepper or Tim English are another two w/a lads i would not turn my nose up at.

Would have thought very unlikely to get English or Logue (as you mentioned). Few decent inside mids should be available come our pick - just the position we loaded up on in trade period :lol
