Hampson highlights
« on: November 18, 2016, 12:01:57 PM »
Welcome to the best thread this site has and will ever see thanks to the popular demand by some forum experts. I have compiled a few GIF's to get us started but I am happy to take requests (game, quarter, time remaining) and I'll add them to the thread.

This is a 2-part gif.

1. Zac Smith allowed to waltz into the forward 50 unopposed and unlucky to be spoiled by his own teammate (maybe Hammer offered up Megan?)

2. Two minutes later and Hampson still hasn't learnt but this time Smith clunks the mark and kicks a goal

Any chance you can bring up the last 20 odd seconds of rd 2 this season, where is great tap work resulted in the Grundie goal and cost us the game

:clapping Kills me.... Cotchin & Martin ummarked either side of him, Tippet trailing behind him, not even competing (and still nearly managed to rove Hampsud's tap himself).....serves it up on a platter straight into the path of the one Sydney player almost directly front of him to run on to....and all with a two-handed tap as well....it's like he either had money Sydney to win by 100+ or on Kennedy for the Brownlow.... Pakistani cricketers have looked less obvious... :clapping  :bow :clapping

It wouldn't be a discussion if nobody took up the case for the defence!
The Defence - Hamma gets into good position in the contest & tries to double-fist it to (I think) Cotchin at 45 degrees to the contest.  He misses the target by about 1mtr (or less) & the Swans onballers pounce on it.  Would it kill our onballers to get under Hamma's feet in front of him?

Yeah we already have more than enough comedy gold in this thread from the great man himself already but thanks for the input...

Great thread but could we a bit more balanced here, YR. Can you find in the second game vs Collingwood where he dropped a sitter, oops I meant brought the ball to ground, in the goal square resulting in a crumbed goal to us?

Is this a gee up?

Cotchin saw Hampson was going to get the tap uncontested and starts moving towards goal, Hampson then taps it in the wrong direction and Cotchin is flat footed and out of the contest.

But hey yeh maybe Cotchin should have stayed flat footed at Hampsons feet to make it double as easy for him not to stuff it up just so he could be smashed by the Swans mids.
