Hammer kicked 5, Grigg had 55 touches and kept Cotch to 3, Vickery kicked 8 and had 17 contested marks on Rance and Newman turned the clock back with a dominant game off the half back flank, keeping Dustin Martin to 7 touches and no goals.

Grigg did kick a couple actually! Was a locked out session so I had to watch through the fence which for a 15 year member is just bulltish.

Martin the standout as was Lambert for the new players.

Knights gave us a scare when it looked like he had done his knee again but he played on through it. I spotted him down Swan street later on with an ice pack on his quad. May have just been a corky.

How did Fyfe Two Menadue & Plugger McKenzie go?

Menedue was very good taking a couple of nice marks in defense.  Beautiful skills and Will take Griggs role as Grigg will be our tagger! McKenzie had a good presence and took some good grabs. However he struggled to kick over 50 metres.

Surprised me:

Arnot playing midfield and doing well
Lloyd's fitness much improved.

Thanks Cracker. How did Conca look to be travelling? Did Vickery/Griffiths catch your eye? And who were Jack/McBean's opponents?

:banghead :banghead :banghead Griggs scared of contested possessions how is he supposed to stop someone from getting them. Heppel tore him a new one, imagine him playing on someone like Ablett or Selwood

Latest word is that Super Coach has asked Pettifer & Tambling back to the club to give him specialist coaching for the role.........
