Apparently (I'll let you know the exact source if you PM me) Polak can not see below his knees and has no peripheral vision. He needs help to work a treadmill and has no chance of ever playing again. The club has kept Graham on the list for welfare and moral issues only.

They are saying on KB's show today that Polak won't play at all next year and it'll be 2010 at best. It seems we've got a better idea about Polly's rate of recovery since he's been back training for a while now. I think this is the argument the Club will use as to why it has left it to now to apply for Polly to be put on the rookie list as opposed to the end of October.

First thing I noticed was that the reports saying Graham Polak can't see below his knees etc are a load of poo. He took a couple of marks from right off his toes, and his skills seemed fine. Was left out once the drills started getting remotely physical/tight though.

While I'm a little sceptical about the can't see below his knees thing, if he really is suffering from tunnel vision then he can obviously see below his knees if he's looking down.

No matter what anyone says Polly still won't be playing footy next year. Even Polly himself has admitted he is dropping marks he would've taken in his sleep before the accident.

And on Polak, he was bending down and picking up the ball while running, saw him take a mark low to ground as well but on the other hand saw him drop that hit him lace out on the chest.... but then again so did Richo

Nope - on Friday while blokes who weren't training were up in the stands signing autographs the question was asked and that's the answer I heard
