Of the fellows hoping to gain a guernsey I only took note of two – Free and a very dark skinned aboriginal player. Free is small but very broad seemed clean by hand and foot but the aboriginal player was the stand out. He looked overweight to my untrained eye but was extremely skillful, possessed excellent decision making skills and had a wonderful long, congestion breaking, handball.

Well done Stripes, great report.  I know how hard it is to keep some notes and remember stuff when you attend training or a game and your efforts are (as are the efforts of everyone who writes a report for all of us) very much appreciated.

Stripes.  I think u'll find that u got griffiths and vickery mixed up.  Vickery was doing all the drills and towards the end was the one on his knees with hardwick kicking to him.  He's cut off his dreads hence perhaps u didn't recognise him.

Griffiths isn't in full training yet but he was out there.  big bloke he is.  the spent the latter half of the session doing kick to kick with nason.

Vickery looks a lot like Gas now he's had his haircut. ;)

Thanks for your kind comments everyone. Now I know hoe MT feels like weekly!  ;)

OE - I think you are correct with the aboriginal player. Very clean hands, great game sense and vision but just needs additional fitness. Could be a great pick up.

Awesome report Stripes. A great read :bow :clapping  :cheers  :thumbsup. LOL Con. Yep I might now be out of a job as a reporter  ;D.

Stripes, great news about Griffiths. It would be great if other clubs were scared off him thinking he needed a shoulder reco and now that it wasn't so bad we've picked up a real bargain in gaining a quality big key forward at pick 19. Fingers crossed :pray. You're right about Gus being a big boy now  :o. Another year and preseason for Postie and he'll be strong in the upper body as well.

Here's some more pics: http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/LjIB4DCnfAh/Richmond+Tigers+Training+Session

The indigenous kid is definitely Roberts from the below photo.

Trying to figure the others. Kadhelfelt is next to Edwards. Grimes I think is in front of Jake King. I'm not sure who the two next to Grimes are?

Someone made a tongue in cheek comment about it on another forum, but i wonder if Richmond have pulled of the greatest scam in the history of the draft here :whistle.

Just on Kahlefeldt, this is the correct spelling of his name. The permission to train list put out the the AFL has the 'd' in the wrong spot. I actually thought that the reports that he is the brother of the Olympic tri-athlete were wrong but the AFL has got the spelling wrong. ( Sorry , just being pedantic  :rollin)
