They're out there right now. Would have stopped but I'm on way in to work.
c'mon, danog get your priorities right

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

I managed to get to training only to see the warm up drills before John Vickery asked me politely to leave as he was closing the gates because they were trying a few things.

Come on TB, that's not the attitude.  John Vickery?  Who's he anyway?  Surely you could have stood your ground and had a whack at him (if needed) to get your point across.  You'll need to harden up and sacrifice a hit for the team if you want to stay on this forum!

john vickery is the boxing coach, i wouldn't have stood a chance.  What i did notice throughout the warm up drills is that cotchin and reiwoldt are moving beautifully and their kicking skills were sublime every time.  Pleasure to watch.

Have to say Big Maric looks great and moves really well for a big man,  foot passing was very good too.

Morris runs hard and didnt miss a target whilst i was there.  Very strong build

Really like the look of vickery atm.  Moving very well and has great hands.

Deledio sensational at everything.

Ellis runs extremely hard and just doesn't miss a target.

Overall i was there about 30 mins,  still a few kick missing targets by the usual suspects but the quality players are very clean.

See, there you go again.  If you want to be a key player on this forum then you need to stand up and take that hit...................then post the pics on here so we can have a look!   ;D

But in all seriousness, thanks for the training info, it's much appreciated by all of us on here who don't get a chance to see it.   :thumbsup

You should have watched from the "Public Car Park" couldn't have told you politley or otherwise to move on from there  :rollin

I sometimes reckon these "closed training sessions" at Punt Road Oval are a bit comical to be honest. If anyone wanted to they could watch from the footpath on Punt Road; granted it would look a bit strange but it could easily be done and the club couldn't stop it  ;D

good session today, l was lucky to skip uni this arvo to watch.

my report is only limited to who stands out. But if anyone has questions fire away.

Postie won the time trial easy in the big blokes race and Whitey and Ellis won the small's. Ellis easily looks best 22 to me, wonder if he'll play against blues.

Dusty looks a plodder on the endurance runs and has huge thighs for a young bloke [Lethal comparisons]. I've read about Titch putting on weight and was skeptical but he is noticeably bigger, should help his game. Helbig and Webbs just did kick to kick most the time and Cotch only joined in some drills. His kicking was poor at times which l wouldn't have expected.

Maric is big and solid but is going to be a bit of a plodder, where Gus seems more athletic but sloppy with marking and kicking.

Conners trained well, [is bigger than l remember] and played in forward group, might be a surprise selection this year.

Arnot looks like a midget body builder but does alright with the ball.

Conca looks classy, not as good as Cotch but always seems involved in the play and makes smart decisions [a bought time we got one]

Vickery was always used as the deep forward and grabs nearly everything.

Jack was vocal [surprise]

Houli looks really fit and showed polished skills.

That's all l can recall for now.

Should of told him you pay his and everyone else's wages and to stuff off and get back to work.
