You've come along way since "No shops are allowed to open it is the law" in a short space of time  :lol

The Superstore sells sporting goods, it's at a sporting venue (PRO), and i'm pretty confident it's appropriate to use footballs and wear football jumpers at that venue.

You're clutching at straws WP.

Touche

Personal view is they shouldn't be allowed to based on the law as it stands but if they do I just hope they checked & got the OK

if not and they get fined I am sure you'll cough up the $10k  :thumbsup

There's two public training sessions this week...

Tomorrow (Tues) 11am.
Saturday  11am

All training sessions are at the ME Bank Centre unless stated otherwise.

Also please note, players will NOT conclude all training sessions with autographs

A reminder to all supporters wishing to attend training sessions at the ME Bank Centre that there is no public parking or public bathrooms at the ground, and limited seating available.

Super Saturday training session (RFC)

Super Saturday returns
richmondfc.com.au
Tue 17 Apr, 2012

Richmond travels down the highway to take on Geelong on Sunday, but if you’re not making the trip, you can see the Tigers at Super Saturday this weekend.

The boys will be put through their paces at the ME Bank Centre from 11am, as they put the finishing touches on their preparations for the match against the Cats.

At the start of training, selected Richmond players will attempt kicking a football into a wheelie bin from 20 metres away.

Whoever comes closest to getting the ball into the bin - or, in fact, if they get it in - the number on their back will be the size of the discount on guernsey purchases in the Tigerland Superstore for the following 30 minutes.

And, as a special treat, a member of the Richmond coaching staff will make a speech to the Richmond fans during the session.

There will also be a DJ playing during training, and the opportunity for fans to get a player autograph at the conclusion of the session.

The Tigerland Superstore will also be open, from 9am-1pm.

Tigers train in enemy territory
By Paul Daffey
Thu 19 Apr, 2012

RICHMOND held a training session at Simonds Stadium on Thursday ahead of the clash against Geelong, the ground's tenant, on Sunday.

Richmond did something unusual in that they held their main training session at the ground.

The Tigers trained there for 90 minutes, mostly at the southern end.

While Simonds Stadium is difficult for opposition teams at any time, it's even tougher this year because the stand at the southern end, the Doug Wade Stand, has been demolished as part of the stadium's redevelopment.

The stand's absence has left a gap for the wind to rush in off Bass Strait.

The Cats' local knowledge is a decided advantage. The Tigers have tried to pick up some knowledge of their own.

Richmond had the better of the conditions when it defeated the Cats by 59 points at Simonds Stadium during the NAB Cup.

The only gaps in that instance were in the Geelong defence.

We get to train at the interstate grounds before a match so I don't see why Kardinia should be any different.  They should be grateful that the AFL lets them play at that poohole anyway!
