So let me get this straight - the RFC won't train at Craigieburn a facility built for them with a MCG size ground because it is too far away from Punt Road but will travel down to Sandringham?

Craigieburn is a hole. Sandringham is a nice drive to a nice middle class suburb which also allows the boys  to get to the beach for a swim or a recovery session from a hard training session.

How would you know IIRC you've ever been out there to check out Highgate Reserve abnd the facility that is out there?

My point is they sooked about having to travel out to Craigieburn but you don't hear the same sooking about Sandringham, Moorabbin etc

Funny how Craigieburn was a great idea when they couldn't move cricket off Punt Road. And I've said it before without having to outlay $0.01 they had a facility built for them, to their requested specifications (read the size of the MCG) and now the shun it for reasons that have nver really been clearly explained outside of it's too far to travel

I sook about going out to Craigieburn for the family day once a bloody year. Miles away!
Great idea building a ground all the way out there. Not.

A lot of the players would likely live a lot closer to Sandy/Moorabin than that hole.

now another bout of the dreaded C.

big year for me and the tigers coming up.

Yep North are training at Craigieburn while the Arden street surface is getting an upgrade (new turf)

Hume Council will be pleased somone is using it.
