Gallery: Tigers get pumped up ahead of round one

AS RICHMOND'S season opener rapidly approaches, AFL Media photogpraher Michael Willson joined a selection of Tigers in the gym for a strength training session.

Brett Deledio, Alex Rance, Jack Riewoldt and Shane Edwards were among the players captured in a photo session that shows the Tigers like you rarely see them.

All pictures by Michael Willson, AFL Media.

Brett Deledio with a lazy 150kg on his shoulders.

Chris Yarran and Jacob Townsend perform a delicate balancing act.

Alex Rance shows the strain.

Kamdyn McIntosh and Alex Rance in a reflective moment.

Tigers captured in light and shade at the ME Bank Centre.

Deledio gives his core a workout.

Alex Rance stretches out during the strength training session.

Jack Riewoldt puts his all into the session.

A sweaty Sam Lloyd takes a moment to catch his breath.

Nick Vlastuin shows off his juggling skills.

Deledio continues his full-body workout.

Shane Edwards gives his tender left shoulder some exercise.

Ben Griffiths keeps his focus with a heavy load.

Shaun Hampson puts in the hard yards on the treadmill.
