Our younger to mid-age blokes have been doing tan runs and training at Punt Rd including some ball work.

There were 5 blokes doing some 100m and 200m runs at Punt Rd today but they didn't look like any of ours and weren't wearing Richmond gear. Looked more like 17-18 year olds from Hailebury and Brighton Grammar by the jumpers they were wearing.

Here's a preseason training report (last Wednesday) from BF:

Not really a report as such, but just some tidbits for any rabid Tigers fans out there.

Strolled down and had a look at the Tigers doing some pre-season work last Wednesday.

- No sign of Richo or Brown.

- Raines looked incredibly fit.

- Foley spent the entire time I was there (about 40 mins), sprinting from one end of the ground to the other. Seemed to have about 1 min rest in between. He was under the watchful eye of a running coach who was giving him advice about spending too much time on his right leg whilst running.
He looked really, really fit.

- Joining him was Kayne Pettifer. He was about 60 metres behind him each time and was really battling. Perhaps Wallace wants to push him up into the midfield this year?

- David King appeared to run the session.

- They were very vocal and seemed pretty serious.

Good to hear Axel's not resting on his laurels and still working hard as ever to improve further. Poor Petts lol.

they don't actually - there's a fair bit of skill involved

But seeing all the biff has been taken out of the AFL - it's nice to see it remains in some sports

Yes I can see everything is like it always is  ;) ;) I am just catching up on some reading.

Glad I missed trade week but home in time for the draft  :thumbsup

I also found a new Tiger team to support while I was away.

The Hamilton Tiger Cats in the CFL (Canadian Football League - gridiron). Finished bottom of the ladder and won only 2 games this season - sounded familar so I had to jump on their bandwagon :cheers :clapping ;D

No probs WP  :thumbsup :cheers. I couldn't believe it was cheaper to SMS North America than to SMS from Learmonth near Ballarat  :o  ???.

Just on training - all the players are back for preseason training this week but they are non-public sessions.
