Worth considering for a rookie spot?

What about Hansen would at least provide some cover in the short term while we developed a kid like say naughton if we took him in the nd.

As opposed to my Dusty mail.Apology accepted

Or our KPD  stocks for that matter. If anything the lack there of is just as bad as the key fwd stocks. there is literally just the two Astbury and Rance who are key position size.
If we look at Hampson as a spud, Maric gone and Soldo still a long way off and questionable, we need to address our ruck stocks as well.

Sooner or later sides will come to grips with the way we structure up what then.

Let's hope they don't work it out this year... :snidegrin

No doubt sides have figured out how we structure up by now, but actually matching up with our smalls is the problem. On a smaller ground like Simmonds stadium its much easier. But agreed basically we are in trouble all over the ground with talls.

With the exception of a key forward/Ruck, Our first choice key position talls are outstanding.
Astbury, Rance out back with Grimes as a back up, Jack and Nank as forward with Nank as first choice Ruck have all been sensational this year.
I agree that there is a lack of depth and so luck with injuries is a key but this set up has delivered our best crack at a flag for over 20 years and should therefore at the very least should be acknowledged
