I'd like a club president ..... elected by the members
Even the prime minister isn't directly elected by the voting public.....
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

A premiership. If not, finish low on the ladder and give plenty of game time to the future instead of your Griggs, Houlis and Hampson types.

Sack Hardwick. Clean out remaining recruitment dinosaurs, and hit 2018 with two more early first rounders (with Geelong finishing bottom).

You do realise if we get your 1st one - flag

Then there is no way in hell you get your 2nd request  :lol

No she doesn't realise. 😂
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Well.....I can assure you of two things WAT:-

1) I am a man.
2) Despite your gender fearing comment, even if I was a 'she', it wouldn't have any bearing on my intelligence. It may however intimidate you a little more me thinks  ;)

I would like our midfield to click and have no weak links. Is that too much to ask?

And that somehow makes it okay?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

No. Just saying it's unusual and not practical.
Hopefully, if you can actually elect all members of the board, you can trust them to vote in the best person to lead them.

You taught me that people who can't 'do', teach instead.

A PM still needs to face the voters within his own electorate every three years to keep his seat in parliament. As Stanley Bruce and John Howard found out in the end, that's not always a certainty. Once you win the approval of the local voters to represent them, then your party caucus can vote you as their leader and, if in government, PM as well.

The ability to appoint directors was argued by its proponents as being a means to attract people with certain skills onto the Board who would be reluctant to do so if they had to face a election to gain position on the Board. It was never mentioned as being a means to enable existing directors, and in this case the club president, to bypass the scrutiny of a members' vote.

Your club’s 2016 Christmas wish

News Corp Australia
24 December 2016

DID Christmas come early for your club or will it have to wait until 2017?

Bulldogs fans have been celebrating since October so they’re well looked after but Geelong and Sydney fans might be hoping for more next season.

From unlikely finals campaigns to a simple gameplan, we’ve worked out exactly what each club wants for Christmas.

RICHMOND

Dustin Martin’s signature would be perfect. Dusty is the Tigers’ best player but a restricted free agent when he comes out of contract at the end of 2017. How many times have we heard clubs say they have a war chest ready to throw at a high-profile star? The Tigers also have money to spend after the depatures of Brett Deledio and Chris Yarran but Martin’s future is closely tied to Damien Hardwick’s fortunes - if Richmond jumps back into September calculations, both are likely to stay in yellow and black.
