Richmond players play game of bubble soccer during pre-season trainingHerald Sun

It’s possible the players were learning about balance and bodywork. It’s more likely the club found a creative way to let off some steam after a tough pre-Christmas training block to end a very long year for the Tigers.
Either way, it’s weird.
As usual Dustin Martin is in the thick of the action — but his trademark “don’t argue” doesn’t work so well in this game.
The video was posted on Richmond’s Instagram account today and has been viewed almost 8000 times.
Most fans saw the funny side but some weren’t impressed that the Tigers had taken their eye off the ball even for a few minutes.
One wrote: “How about fixing the game plan, Dimma?” and another replied “already put a line through 2017”.
Lighten up, guys. After all, it’s Christmas.
