early Pink Floyd
Speaking of early Floyd ....... what was Lucifer Sam?
If its early Floyd...hmmm....maybe an affectionate name for Syd Barrets guitar??  :help
Nup tiga but the song is based on something that did belong to Syd Barret. The clue is in the lyrics.

Here's another obscure one...

Which Deep purple song (studio version) starts with the sound of an Air-conditioner?

Once again, any fan will get it straight away.

Bass player from Deep Purple Roger Glover had a hit in 1975 from his solo exploits that sometimes appeared as a promo on Channel Two during the kiddies shows around that era late 70's early 80's. I am showing my age here folks. Can anyone name the title of that song?

here's another...

Do we all remember the infamous interview on Countdown between Molly and Iggy Pop? (who was chemically enhanced at the time)

Well Iggy, against better judgment, performed a song after the interview.
What was the name of the song and what did he do with the microphone besides sing with it?

Who was chemically enhanced? Is that a quiz question too, my answer would be 'both'  :lol

Not sure what he sang after it, but I wouldn't be surprised if he used the microphone to simulate a penis ala B. Fevola

Sorry Dallas, I should have been more specific...Iggy was completely off his face on Wizz Fizz.... Molly was just his regular stoned.  ;D
You are not far off on the Mic incident but I'll let others have a crack at that and the song before I reveal all.

I'm Bored was the song.

What didn't he do with that mic  ;D. The microphones on Countdown were just stage props with all the lip synching  :lol.
