Gotta go to bed - so just in case i am right.

Who is Rexy's famous quote "It ain't over until the fat lady sings" named after and how did it come about?

Presumably it comes from opera and a soprano blasting out an aria at the end. I once heard someone say it was "named" after Dame Joan Sutherland.

Yep, Kate Smith is correct.

But apart from the reason she was rather large, how did the expression come about?

She always finished events by singing God Bless America hence "It ain't over till the fat lady sings".

Over to you, Tiga  :thumbsup

Hopefully here is a tricky one...On what Phil Collins Album does he sing a tune originally sung by Judy Garland?

Was it that lead singer chick from the pretenders with the jet black hair and the overgrown fringe?? Ummm Chrissie hind or something like that? She has
very distinctive vocals. Not a big fan of U2's latter stuff but I really like the albums 'Boy' and 'War'. Gritty edgy stuff before they became mainstream pop.

Who am I?

I was one of the members of 1980s new-romantic duo Seona Dancing?

Clue1: I later on in my life created one of the most successful British comedies of recent times.

Clue2: tiga would know the answer even if he doesn't realise it yet lol ;).
