Saints 10 4 pts with 54 secs to go [Port just kicked a goal]. A Port loss would mean a win tonight for us [touchwood  :pray] would put us 2 games ahead of 5th.

Robbie Gray goal with 19 secs to go to put Port in front. What a choke by the Saints. 10 pts up with a minute to go and they lost by coughing up two goals in the last minute after Port had only kicked 7 goals for the night up till then. St Kilda hasn't won a game since their one-off night out against us  ::).

Oh well, let's hope this makes the Saints out of contention by the time round 23 comes around.

Would have been good to get two games clear but glad Saints got done. They started the year expecting to make the 8 by default and now likely to miss. With any luck they'll have nothing to play for by round 23.

A mixed result for us tonight. Hawthorn winning means they'll be up for next week. On the other hand, Sydney losing means tomorrow night as well as the Hawks game is a chance for us to cement a spot in the top 4. Not going to be easy without Jack  :-\.

I'm glad they won, not just bc of Sydney but I reckon we need a few of these high pressure big games in the lead up to the finals. We'll bury them

I'll bet the media will not be saying they played the worst last minute in football history. They reserve that accolade for us anytime we blow it.

Good ol' Collingwood. 50 pts up in early in the 3rd quarter and they still can't win  :lol.

Also great that we won't be hearing anything this week from all the Essendon-supporting journos. Bombers were shown up as pretenders by the Dogs.

Gee wouldn't it be lovely if the blues completely finish off their season this coming weekend

Let's all get behind the blues to send these cheats out of finals reach

So who are people barracking for tonight? A Sydney win is a good result if we beat Hawthorn but a Geelong win is a good result if we don't...

As soon as Danger laid that tackle last week I knew hed cop a week and in true richmondy fashiin Geelongs opponent would beat them given we were the rebound team the week after.
I wouldve prwgerred cats win this week. Cant see them losing two in a row now especially with Danger coming back in after rwsting that foot injury

Even with Danger back it sounds like they will only have half a team next week. I'll wait and see how we go against Hawks before I start believing though.

Essendon trailing Carlton at 3/4 time. Lloyd, Robbo and Connolly will be very quiet if their beloved Bombers get rolled by a bottom 2 side and their season is officially done and dusted  ;D

Eagles choke again in a last quarter this year. The media will again say nothing.

Means the Saints are still in it.
