Memo - Richmond FC put up or shut up
« on: February 23, 2017, 10:18:00 PM »
I know most will disagree but as far as I'm concerned, season starts tomorrow night.
Our intent will set the tone for the entire season like when we played the Doggies 2 years ago and they signalled their arrival with a new playing style and a great energy.
Win and it's a praccy match, lose and it's raised eyebrows stuff. That's the reality when you spend life in mediocrity whilst pretending to be elite.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Ill say this. Every year in recent times with the preseason games, when we put a strong team on the park against an opposition strong lineup we get found out and the poo hits the fan.

Adelaide are going in relatively strong and are obviously a decent side.

I want to see at least competativeness and how things have been fixed by hardwick.

I agree, we need to hit the ground running, it might not always be slick and polished but the intent, attitude and improvement has to be noticeable, a lot like the saints last night, they were good for a first up hit out.
