hard to know if he has done a good job?

What do you think mate? seriously

same goes for all of them who are still there.
IT COULDN'T possibly be an issue as RFC had an external review last year and everyone concerned would have been interviewed and appraised both personally
and as perceived by their peers.
  :snidegrin
In fact it was such a non issue that it was not even deemed necessary to share the review with members. :shh
The review was solid and extremely thorough. I have allegedly been given special access to the transcripts. Here is one.

External Review Interviewer: So Mr Livingston, how do you think you've performed in your role?
Tim Livingston: I think it's obvious that I have outperformed in all areas and my KPI's are reflective of this.
ERI: So you think you deserve an extension on your current contract?
TL: Mate, the club would be crazy not to keep me on.
ERI: Very well then Mr Livingston and thank you for your valuable time.
TL: No problem at all and please, call me Tim.
The club that keeps giving.

Personally found it hard to warm up to Tim. He is just not the sort of guy that I would have as my friend. That is a very personal taste though. The thing is a few of my friends that have met him feel the same way so I'm not alone.

Don't think it surprising that people you consider friends, so obviously share similar ideals etc., would not see him as a guy you'd have as a friend.
A couple of them a very different to me. But since you know all of this I won't continue. Thanks for that input. It's added a lot to the discussion.

Obviously my point is that you and your mates sharing a similar opinion on a guy doesn't carry much weight. Just like giving your opinion on whether you like him or not doesn't add to the discussion whether he's doing his job or not. Didn't think I'd have to explain that ::)

Disagree strongly with this. The guy is in a man management position. He must have the capacity to relate to different personalities. If we find him hard to relate to, that's not a good start for him.

maybe he just doesnt have time for people who needlessly quote posts when replying to them?
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Thanks for that needless post.....

When you are on the move with your phone, you sometimes don't have the luxury of editing out other posts.

Why don't you just but out of others discussions unless you can contribute meaningfully to them. And I don't mean whingeing and whining like a little immature child either.

strange that you knew that it was directed at you without me quoting your post.

Yet you still dont get it.

You clutter up pages and pages with unnecessary quoting, making it an absolute nightmare to read on a phone, having to scroll through large amounts of quoted posts, often only for a 1 or two sentence reply. The mods have asked for this not to happen yet you continued to do so.

It shows a blatant disregard for others reading the forum, and for the wishes of the mods.

It is unnecessary and selfish

There were only 4 quotes. Are you that lazy you can't see past them? I'm on my phone and its no problem whatsoever. I'm not sure why you have so much of an issue.

People like you are the reason why a lot of posters don't post here anymore. You whinge about everything and people can't be bothered coming back and having to put up with ridiculous complaints.

Actually what he is complaining about is a reason a few posters don't post here (i.e. wading through the crap). I think you're missing the main point which is that the mods have asked for it to be stopped yet you continue to do it...

A lot of female poster have also left this site.

I don't think it is due to the endless complaints or repeat quoting though.

the female posters rode away on unicorns, didnt they?

What was the thread where people just quoted and quoted even though they were replying to the immediate preceding post that became a nightmare to read? you had to scroll for ages just to read 1 or 2 sentences. The mods came in asking it to stop and stated that was the sort of thing that caused people to stop reading the forum, of which i can understand.

why is it so hard to understand that if you are replying to the immediate preceding post there is generally no need to quote that post.

I don't mind the quoting as it allows me to read bitch brawls in one spot.

No, the topic is about excessive quoting and it was hijacked at the start by football talk.
