It's early days and against a rubbish mob but very happy we have finally fixed the no small forwards and crap ruckman issues. Been very happy.

You have to say though, if they refine this aggressive style, they are going to be awesome.

Good sides will pick it apart but at least it's entertaining.

Houli is odd, he can do some silky stuff but then he counters it with utter bonehead poo. bit unreliable.  Macca improved in the second.  What I like is they look fit and they look like they aren't bludging

The addition of young speed is making a big difference. We're not getting beaten on the spread nor the ball is easily leaking out of our forward line which happened every week last year. Only time Carlton had momentum was last 5 mins when we slackened off in the midfield.

Macca was good that qtr. Thought Vlas improved as well after looking lost in the preseason.
