Ladies & gents,
I'm a bit of a lazy pr i ck when it comes to tipping and often can't be bothered doing anything on a weekly basis. I'm willing to run a ladder tipping comp if there is enough interest. Basically the advantage would be that it is a one time prediction and if you go away for work/holidays/whatever fduring the season then it keeps going.
So what would happen is you submit what you think will be the ladder after round 22. You accumulate points by the diffference between your prediction and the actual ladder. So if you tip the Tiges to finish 4th and they finish 7th, you get 3 points (7 - 4). Likewise when the Tiges actually finish top, you would get 3 points. This is added up for every team. Lowest score wins. I will update the progress scores on a weekly basis. If enough people get involved it should be interesting right up until the end of the final series.
In addition there will be bonus points for the following:
Tipping the NAB cup winner (-5pts)
Tipping the Grand final winner (-10 pts)
Tipping the Runners up (-5 pts)
Tipping both the grand finalists but getting it arze about (-5 pts)
Tipping the Coleman medallist (-5 pts)
Tipping the Brownlow medallist (-10 pts)
Tipping the Rising Star (-5pts)
Tipping the Norm Smith Medalist (-10 pts)
Tipping the Jack Dyer Medallist (-5 pts)
Thoughts? Anyone interested?
