Richmond has made three changes to its line-up for Thursday night’s big Round 2 clash with Collingwood at the MCG.

Forward Ben Lennon, small defender Jayden Short and midfielder Kane Lambert have forced their way into the side that defeated Carlton by 43 points in the opening round.

The trio was rewarded for displaying good form recently at VFL level.

Lennon kicked a combined total of 10 goals in the Richmond VFL team’s past two pre-season practice matches (against Footscray and Northern Blues), Lambert has been prominent through the midfield, and Short a valuable contributor across the backline.

They replace Sam Lloyd, Taylor Hunt and Kamdyn McIntosh, who have all been omitted.

The Tigers’ three emergencies for the Round 2 match are Hunt, Ivan Maric and Anthony Miles.

Short after no jlt games ? Strange. Mcintosh disposal was very poor can understand that. Although I'd prefer keep mcintosh, short for hunt and no lambert.

No Miles ?
Wanted to play in VFL last week , club said no
Lambert shows reasonable form last week and jumps ahead of him
Interesting

Short to get the job on fasolo? I think vlastuin will play back this week. Can't see Lennon or lambert playing back

clearly worried about our run are the pies.

Hoping Grimes can do the job on Fasolo, hell maybe even throw Rance onto him and Grimes can go to Moore if Moore plays high.

Thought Lloyd was a bit stiff - yeah he had a stinker last week but thought he had a few credits in the bank - geez I hope lennon can show something and consolidate

Play McIntosh on the wing!

I'm wrapt.
Put everyone on notice- if you don't contribute you will get replaced. Put some pressure on these players that have had it too easy for too long.
Well done Dimma. I don't think you had it in you.  :clapping

Hunt and Lloyd were around the worst Lars week. They have been chopped. New philosophy  or different  selecton committee.? Either way I like the signals.

Big ticks from everyone on here - must mean we'll lose by 50  :snidegrin

Lloyd and Hunt fair calls. McIntosh turned it over a heap (including a few easy hballs which cost us) but I thought he also broke a few lines. Id have kept him in for balance.

But I'm with the crowd, I like it.  :thumbsup

You would hope Griffiths can hit the scoreboard tomorrow night, otherwise he will be next to get chopped
