Shaun Grigg on 3AW
« on: April 18, 2017, 02:26:21 PM »
Griggy was on 3aw yesterday:

* What has changed this year?

A combination of things: Benny Gale's review; new assistant coaches; Leppa coming back; new players. It's been a fresh start. We also played a lot of young players towards the end of last year to give them exposure to AFL footy.

* What did you learn from last year's disaster?
The ups and downs of footy. That things are never as good/bad as they appear. We've worked hard over the summer to turn things around back to the form prior to 2016.

* Who drove the new gameplan?

Dimma, Blake and the other assistants.

* Grigg turns 29 on Wednesday. They asked him if he was in career best form? Grigg just thanked to all the young guys who have come in. He's enjoying his footy and feels fresh and more like a 21 year old than 29.

* Grigg said Rioli reminded him of a young Eddie Betts when they were together at Carlton. Daniel is a very hard worker.
