I think Elton will keep his spot. Unfortunately but with only a few games under his belt will work in his favour.
Martin definitely didn't look 100 percent, not sure how bad he is but I think he may be a last minute decision.
Vlas in for martin?

  • You have to think anyway, so why not think big? DT

For me I would rest Martin and Prestia, would even rest Nanks, Put in Miles, Soldo, Bolton, Looks like a loss anyway so what does it matter? It is about where we are at the end of the season IMO.
I don't think it would be a momentum killer and has a lot of upside.

My thoughts are to not flirt with form.

In Lennon, Vlastuin

Well vlastuin is pretty much a lock in so I reckon cya markov or menadue.. I'd prefer to see markov have another crack. Chol for Elton.

I reckon the selection panel might just drop short or mcintosh though.. we'll see.

I could be proven wrong this week but apart from the playing style one of the most pleasing things this year is that omissions are occurring despite our winning form, a few years ago a winning streak would see the same players retained for roughly half a season before a change was made.

PS I think B Ellis must be on notice as he has lifted his intensity and attack on the ball.

Lambert and Houli out, what a ridiculous thing to say.

Lambert was fantastic and tough all night. Houli was a huge reason we won the game in that last quarter.

For me:

Out:
Menadue (sucked)
Butler (think he needs a rest)

In:
Miles (need toughness)
Lloyd (proven goal kicker, and tough)

Our best chance to beat Adelaide is with pace...dropping Butler for Lloyd would be counter-productive to that aim - (I'd argue likewise for Menadue but he never uses his pace and has been crap anyway.)

Crows are a a big strong mature side......id even put Maric in ahead of Elton.....couldn't do any worse and he would be pumped up against his old side

In the Mix - Round 6

RICHMOND

Nick Vlastuin (concussion) was kept out of the Tigers' Anzac Day eve clash against Melbourne as a precaution, but the Tigers are hopeful he will be fit to make the trip to Adelaide in round six. The 23-year-old missed back-to-back matches because of concussion in 2016.

Onballer Anthony Miles was on standby as an emergency in round five and his strong VFL form should be rewarded if the Tigers make any midfield changes.

Athletic tall Mabior Chol (three goals in the VFL) is also on the cusp if the Tigers choose to replace Todd Elton, with Ben Griffiths (concussion) unlikely to return.

Half-forward Ben Lennon (one goal in the VFL) has been in and out of the team and is jockeying with Sam Lloyd, who was held over as an emergency against the Demons, for a chance in attack.

Adelaide Crows star Daniel Talia still a chance to tackle Richmond star Jack Riewoldt.

Watched the JLT game again. We must keep using Pace as a weapon. If it is a free flowing game I have no doubt that we will win.....no change to the side for me.
