Morris rewarded for strong vfl form give us a break.Should never come in that backline now it's settled turns it over to much and to many free kicks.Only position for him is a tagger.

How about Miles? I know he was an emergency and didn't play but he has been starring at the vFL level. Why isn't he in the squad as a "reward"?

Sadly I think you've actually partly answered your question by mentioning he wax an emergency last week.

Reckon they just want to make sure he plays a full game this week

Not saying I agree but reckon that's the reason WHY.

TBBH I am extremely confused by 2 of the ins, don't think either Morris or Townsend will play but Morris  ::)

Both Townsend and Morro rewarded for solid efforts in the VFL
I watched Morris a fortnight ago in the mauling of Nth Ballarat, he was many things but solid is not the term that comes to mind.

Yep.  :thumbsup
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Surely Talia will miss. Probably a good game for him to miss too as we aren't exactly strong in the KPF department

It is a real worry Miles constantly being overlooked. His form justifies selection. Hopefully Vlas brought in. At a guess they named Morris as Hardwick thinks Morris should go on Betts.

Why, competition for spots is good and forces players to work on deficiencies.

Strange decision to bring in Morris. Hasn't played against Adelaide since 2014 and I don't think he can actually run with or outbody Betts. I would actually put Grimes on him. Grimes moves quite well for a 193cm defender and has good speed also

Grimes may need to play tall. Depends if they bring Jenkins in and if Talia stays in Otten could go forward

Who the stuff is gonna support nankervis? I know Elton was trash but atleast he gave nank a chop out. Please don't tell me astbury is gonna play second tall fwd/ruck.. I think that's the case with grimes to play tall in defence. Hence the inclusion of Morris.

Can't believe Morris has been selected.  Even at full fitness is he nowhere near best 22.
Ridiculous selection when Miles is available.
If Stevy plays on Betts he will kick 8.

With respect Miles and Morris don't play similar roles to suggest one for the other is well foolish

Dont agree with the Morris selection. But Miles is an inside mid, Morris is a crash and bash defender who agree is not in a best 22.

Staggering decision to be honest. I just go in hoping he doesn't injury one of his teammates with his at times incredibly  selfish attack on the footy.

And what I mean is, sometimes instead of doing the team thing, a block, a shepherd he doesn't think and just goes after the ball and ends up causing turnovers or giving away stupid frees

Simple bizarre selection
