Soldo promoted to senior list

Richmond has elevated young ruckman Ivan Soldo from the rookie list to its senior list.

Soldo, who represented the ACT in basketball as a junior, was originally signed by the Tigers as a Category B rookie in 2004.

He’s made impressive progress with Richmond’s VFL team over the past couple of seasons and now is in line to make his AFL debut after being upgraded from the rookie list.

The 204cm, 106kg, 21-year-old is the cousin of experienced Tiger ruckman Ivan Maric.

The final 22 to face the Bulldogs will be announced on richmondfc.com.au this evening at 6.25pm.

The unfortunate thing for poor Soldo is that some site experts have written him off already.

So therefore when this green young fella does get a game and struggles early on I can only imagine how they will be pumping themselves as "getting another one right".
