from Nothern Knights.

Which one?
The one that thinks he's owed a spot and would rather play for the cheats.
The club that keeps giving.

BEllis for Garthwaite....Ellis is useless as a HBF. Garth can play small/tall and is tough!
Vlaustin for Bolton....Watch this kid set us alight.
Castagna for  Stengle.....This boy is skilled and clean by hand/foot.

Nank has to come in and can play as a forward so It would seem that Elton will have to make way for him. Soldo was very impressive in his first game.
I'm hearing some good things about Garthwaite, sounds like he's developing nicely.
I agree with you as to Bolton, from the little I seen he will be a freak. Kid has major X factor.
The club that keeps giving.

Elevate Stengle for Castagna - Bolton will be a gun but will barely give us a half of football at this stage.

Nankervis for Soldo.

Elevate Moore for Elton.

Lennon for Ellis....deserves another crack....his susposedly "poor" AFL games were still miles better than anything CElllis, Morris &  Menadue  have served up since.

Anybody but Hunt or Morris for Vlastuin.

Backline of

Short  Rance  Grimes
Markov  McIntosh CEllis

Yikes, I think that backline would struggle against any decent team. Astbury may make plenty of mistakes but he structures us up and allows not only Rance but also Grimes and Vlastuin (when he's back there) to do their thing. Pull him out and don't put in another KPD and it'll all go to poo

Outs- Houli, BEllis, Vlastuin- big loss structurally

Ins- Nank, Lloyd, Stengle (upgrade this kid, more ready than Bolton imo)

Every week we play 2 short playing Houli and BEllis. It would be nice to have 18 v 18 at some stage this year.
Through in Astbury as another defender that does more harm than good and it just shows how good Rance and Grimes are.

Backline of

Short  Rance  Grimes
Markov  McIntosh CEllis

The only thing surer of them not being outs is your call every week for them to be outs
What do you think of those two?
(an answer would be good without some stupid joke)

I think their intensity at the contest is better this year but for me I could do without both
Fair enough.
I know in reality both will keep their spots as they are in Dimma's "untouchable" class.
It's a shame they are so durable as i would love to see a game without those two playing.

The Barometer - Round 8

Herald-Sun
9 May 2017

RICHMOND

ON THE BLOCK: Nick Vlastuin started strongly against the Bulldogs but his night ended early in the second quarter with a shoulder injury. Scans will reveal how bad it is. Corey Ellis was barely sighted in his first game for the year and Ivan Soldo will go back to the VFL to keep learning the game after doing a pretty good job filling in for Toby Nankervis.

ON THE CUSP: Nankervis will return from suspension and Dion Prestia will be monitored after missing with a hamstring issue. Top draft pick Shai Bolton is a chance to make his AFL debut after kicking two goals from 21 disposals in the VFL. Ben Lennon and Connor Menadue also kept their names in front of the selectors.

AL PATON’S FORECAST:
Plenty to like in a five-point loss to the premier but another win is urgent as the ladder tightens. A home game against a suddenly in-form Fremantle is a must-win before travelling to Sydney to face the Giants. A week off might have done Toby Nankervis the world of good, and he’ll need to be on top of his game giving up 12cm to Aaron Sandilands.

Reckon he'll go out but would like to see how Soldo would go against a genuine ruck and they don't come more genuine than Sandi

I guess Vlastuin will be out injured. I would like them to retain Soldo in the side but believe they will keep Elton rather than Soldo in the side. Nankervis is a must inclusion. Believe club will be conservative regarding Prestia's injury but it would good if he could play. Would like to see Lennon and Bolton brought in at expense of EllisB and Elton but doubt that it will happen.

Time to end the Elton experiment and elevate Moore.

Or play a 204cm beast to neutralise the freak
