From Barrett's Sliding Doors column today:

RICHMOND

IF ..... it was any other club last weekend ...

THEN ..... it wouldn't have lost. Couldn't have lost. And yet, because it was this club, not even a surprise that it happened.

The old girl was all excited 'yes we've won', but the old man said 'don't count on it, there is still 21 seconds to go'.  :lol

Typical Richmond

And that's the reality of following this shot hole club.

We ALL now expect to lose...which is hardly a healthy state of mind

And yet if anyone dares think differently a majority of this site will take it upon themselves to bring the other down to their level. Maybe it's a result of the supporters and not so much the club...

Those supporters are easily influenced. Collingwood blew a game one day earlier but the media focus on the "story".
Eddie McDire has more clout than most of us know in media circles.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

This muppet should shut the ____ up .

If ever there was a team that could rival Richmond's ability to snatch defeat from certain victory its Barretts own North Melbourne .

How many debacles have they had during Scotts tenure.  Heaps .

It's just coz we're richmond. Heaps of other teams lose close games or give up leads. Look at Melbourne just this year, Collingwood, north over the years as mentioned.
