Anyone else got an uneasy feeling?
« on: May 26, 2017, 06:24:14 PM »
Despite losing 4 in a row and being on the same wins, for some reason we are favoured to win this game.
If we lose, the floor will open up beneath us in the media and on our forums but it's quite plausible.

Does anyone get that feeling we may be opened up tomorrow night?
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Funny that with the bookmakers we're favourites but nearly every single "expert" is tipping the dons will be too good.

I'm actually very confident we'll beat them and beat them well.

For some reason I don't see us losing narrowly again. I think we'll either win leading most of the night by 20-30 pts or we'll get absolutely smashed with the game over by haflway through the 2nd qtr  :-\. It's all out how we are above the shoulders. We'll either have the inner resolve to dust ourselves off again after a string of close losses and finally deliver (Dreamtime 2008) OR the scars of the past 3 weeks will finally take their toll and we'll come out mentally drained and flat as a tack similar to the embarrassing 2014 Dreamtime game. We'll know within the first 15 minutes.

Like Dustin Fletchers goal in the first minute. All over red rover. Should've gone home right then.  :banghead

Gold. Is this guy the strongest player since Ablett Junior? Strongest arms at least.

Lucky I said we'd be able to judge how we would go by the first 15 mins and not by the first 5 mins  :lol. We were asleep for the first 5 mins and it was zip-3 before we finally woke up and turned things around.
