We need to regain the manic pressure game style that got us 5 straight wins early in the season.
We seemed to have lost that excitement of just going out and taking the game on. Our scoring has dried up and we seem to be more cautious now with the footy.
The only way we are going to make a dent in this competition is if we throw everything to the wind.
I don't think anyone on here would care if we're just weren't good enough if we played that "tackle at all costs" game style.
The Doggies stole one last year with just pure heart and want, if we can recapture some of our early form, who knows how far we could go.

Totally agree we haven't seen that hard tackling and spread and speed last couple of games as mentioned I'm seeing signs we a reverting back to 2016 over use of ball etc.Played our best football this season with new game plan.

Josh Caddy. It's time for you to stand up and be counted.
Minimum 3 goals Sunday

We are a pathetic football club with this idiot in charge. Seriously!
That game was putrid last week and our twos were very good and yet no change.

Does anyone really thick Caracella says "yer, I'm for no change after last week"

Just my opinion but I think Hardwick is slowly starting not to listen to others like previous years.

Thoughts?

When we played new players, when we play with manic pressure, when we tackle hard and have high tackle numbers, when we give the youngsters a go, when Houli isn't playing, when our forward entries are direct and to the corridor, we win.

When we see the team play dinky sideways uninteresting boring backwards keeping off footy, when we see the same hacks play crap and continue to get games, when we see indirect and forward entries are into the pockets, we lose.

When we see the team do everything different from previous seasons we win.

When we see the team do the same thing from previous seasons we lose.

If Hardwicks coaching tenure has shown us anything it's shown us that he either likes to lose or even worse he is completely delusional in thinking that after 8 years of crap he still believes that his coaching philosophies are the blueprint of success he promised us when he first started.  :rollin

Surely, there had to be a change(s) after such a poor quality game vs Brisbane despite the win. Bolton is extremely unlucky :huh3.

Totally agree what about Menadue one bad game like the rest of team against saints and gets dropped, yet so many other players get chance after chance. The kid was coming  along nice.Really bad example to set such a bad performance against lions not one change bewildering  and so many players in form at vfl.

You can bet your life Dimma pulled rank with no changes. Has his grubby little fingerprints all over this.

If Bolton played and a few out of form players were replaced wed be a 3-4 goal better side tomorrow.

Kids, we may have lost the game at the selection table.  :-[

Stunning decision.  :huh

Agreed.
Imagine if we had Morro and Hunt back for our must win 12 pointer  ;D

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

LOL at its all down to Hardwick. FFS they changed the entire coaching panel around Hardwick and people think they have no input.
Cmon people stop looking for the scape goat and for once have a look at the collective.

On the contrary, despite years of poor selections what's the constant within the collective? Hardwick. Anyone else?

Yes, it is and to suggest that all responsibility for game day decisions doesn't ultimately end with the senior coach is to radically change the role of a senior coach. Even Hardwick (as dumb as he is) would agree that the buck stops with him in relation to all game day decisions because that's his job regardless of the input others may have.
