Just don't get complacent. Always dew on the ground up here. Need to smash the Suns and smash them hard

We were saying the same thing about Lids after an awesome run for 10 years. Poor bastard

I think we could lose this game
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Up to our mids tonight to provide enough supply for us to kick a winning score and lower their eyes to pick out our small forwards. We also need good games from both Nank and Soldo especially when they are each 'resting' up forward. They at least need to contest and bring the ball down to our smalls.

Also got a feeling Dusty will spend a lot of time tonight up forward with Dimma trying to isolate him in our F50. Have our quick smalls higher up so they can turn and sprint on goal.

Kicking straight is of course a must tonight. We can't afford to waste our chances.

It will be interesting to see what we try.

Agree that our small forwards might play higher up tonight.

I can see Dusty playing nearly the whole game in the middle, tasked with running the ball to 50 and taking a ping.

I can also see the possibility Lambert might actually play mainly as a deep forward, which might mean a run with role for someone on Ablett. I am thinking maybe McIntosh. No, I have not been drinking.

That's 40 less possies for the Suns :yep.

I'm guessing with Ablett out, Lambert now tags someone like Rischitelli.

Massive blow to GC, frees up our options.

Definitely. We've just got to make sure we aren't complacent (a la Saints game or 1st quarter last week). A forward line containing Lynch, Wright and Jack Martin could still hurt us on the scoreboard if our mids aren't switched on and allow the Suns too many open inside F50s even without Ablett playing.
