First time Dimma has a better than 50% win-loss record as coach.

Townsend marks on the wing but gets 50m for Macca being dragged down off the ball. Shoots from 45. 5 goals for Townsend  :gotigers

Townsend's goal makes it 6.0 since Jack got that behind at the start of the quarter.

At the start of the year I had us in the poo fight for the last spot in the 8. Here we are at the end of the home and away season sitting in third. Some better goal kicking and we would be minor premiers. The real stuff is only beginning now but an absolute credit to every body at the club. Nobody predicted this, let's hope they now make the most of it.

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Guess 2 step was true to his word LOL.  Townsend has been a ball tearer.  Quick, competitive, good set shot, strong, good mark, stuff me sideways, we have a winner.
