I'm going to go all out and say that our much maligned captain will have a fantastic finals series.

The Dookster will have to change his tune then....  :shh

:pray  we need him to.
In fact all leaders should be bog and the rest should and will follow.

i concur on this.

def the north game, but not the carlton one and aside from the toss stuff up he was okay in the port loss also.

Jack i think has failed in all 3, and i dont count those gimmy goals he got in the port loss when both teams were going through the mptions waiting for the siren to sound.

Riewoldt was one our better players against North I thought...so far the blokes that have stood up in finals when the heat was on are:

2013 - Cotchin, Vlastuin, Maric

2014 - n/a

2015 - Riewoldt, Miles, Rance

For all the crap that gets thrown at Cotchin.....our much-vaunted million-dollar man is yet to stand up in a final when it's truly mattered... :shh

I thought Martin was just about our best player vs Carlton in the first half. Was taking risks and trying to break lines

Was pretty decent in 2013, very good in a belting in 2014. Not great in '15, but wouldn't say he did a Cotchin.

I don't count his front-running first half in 2013 ...nowhere to be seen once Carlton stopped being witches hats & started getting on top....

He was woeful against Port, particularly in the first half -as was the entire side- and that's when the match was lost.... he was even getting cleaned up by Jake Neade ffs...

Yep - well below average in 2015....

Nope -  fact is, it's Cotchin 1/3,  Martin 0/3..... :shh

Woeful v Port? Didn't he have 30 odd?

Not saying he's a bonafide performer but I'd give him 2/3 - when he was a half a million dollar player. We shall see on friday night if he's worth the pay cheque.

Yes was more like a Grigg or Bellis 30 possession game...did stuff all with most of them and didn't influence the match in any way..

Again - standing up in a final is when you either help win it or if not, you at least perform under finals pressure when the chips are down and the match is still in the balance. Martin has yet to do this, Cotchin has at least once. :shh

No it's fact and I'm right. :shh
